You can extract VCF (vCard) files from Outlook desktop software by saving individual contacts directly as vCards, forwarding them as business cards, or using an intermediate CSV format for bulk exports.

Here is the complete step-by-step guide to exporting your contacts.

Method 1: Save Individual Contacts as VCF (Best for 1-5 Contacts)

If you only need to extract a few contacts, you can save them individually directly from your address book.

Open Outlook and click on the People (or Contacts) icon in the navigation bar. Double-click the specific contact you wish to extract.

Click the File tab in the top-left corner of the contact window. Select Save As from the menu. Choose your destination folder.

Open the Save as type drop-down menu and choose vCard Files (*.vcf). Click Save. Method 2: Extract via the Business Card Feature

This native option is ideal for extracting a small handful of contacts at once without entering your address book. Click New Email from the Outlook home screen. Click the Insert (or Attach File) tab at the top.
